An exciting opportunity has arisen to get a foot on the ladder in the social housing sector.
Ongo is seeking an enthusiastic apprentice who will gain a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration and develop the skills to build a career in Building Safety & Compliance.
The role is working Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week (inc. 1-day college attendance).
This apprenticeship is expected to last 18 months, including the end point assessment.
This role offers a salary of £7.55 per hour, therefore offers the opportunity to earn whilst you learn. The wage will increase to NMW following the initial 12 months for aged 19 or over.

The purpose of the job is to:
Assist in developing and implementing safe systems of work, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with building regulations and safety standards, gaining practical experience and knowledge under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Entry Requirements:
You must have GCSE English and Maths at grade C / 4 or equivalent.
Knowledge, Skill & Experience Required
- Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to type accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills
- An ability to engage with the public face to face, by email and by telephone.
- Able to use own initiative.
- A keen eye for detail
- Good team worker
- Keen to learn with the ability to take a qualification and attend college one day per week.
